ABOUT C.W. BLACKBURN
'I want to release what keeps me bound,
to live unfolding the whole spectrum...' – Essences
C. W. Blackburn is a mystic poet, currently living in Bournemouth, a seaside town on the south coast of England. In 2011, at the age of 24, he started undergoing a series of peak experiences, which led to a gradual shift in his perception from the material to the spiritual.
After a return of mental health struggles in his later twenties, he began reading into the wisdom teachings of the major world religions and spiritual systems, which is the influence and inspiration for his poetry.
Where Words Are Yet To Be Spoken: Poems For Presence, his first collection, was published in January 2022, and was followed in April 2022 by Disorder: 23 Poems About Mental Health, One Hundred Colours of Being: Poems in the Spirit of Zen in September 2022, The Gospel of Silence: Poems for the Living One in November 2022, and Tarot Haiku: Poems for the Mystic Path in October 2023.
